On some Systems i get this message, when i start any compiled script:
:-2147023838
Line 159, Column 6
Apptitel, lines or columns varies, depending on the Macro.
Does anybody have a idea what this message: ":-2147023838" means?
regards

This is a VBScript error so is being generated by some VBScript. Which bit of VBScript causes it? I expect it's a COM related error - are you trying to manipulate MS Office/Outlook or similar via COM?

You are right, in between I found thats a COM+ related error but i can not further invetigate it, because the error occurs only on some systems of my colleagues in the USA.
In the script I do nothing with MS Office. I only sqlcmd via VB to do some database/sql server management.
Please don't put to much time into it. I told them to get some new, right configurated PCs for our branch office there
