well,
nothing really was working so I went into the access query itself and removed the exit command from the macro. then I added login in the MJTNet macro to close out the database manually; AltX, F. That seemed to do the trick. Thanks for all the helped me today. If you get that stupid Access error box, I guess the morale is to remove the exit command from the Access macro. go figure..... thanks!
