sheet refrence in Excel

How do I specify a sheet within a excel workbook i.e. I would like to do a dderequest on a data on one of the worksheets of the workbook in excel.

a) execute the workbook\file
b) tab towards the worksheet you need (CTRL+Page Down)

or

a) use VBScript to open the workbook + worksheet directly

Can you kindly tell us how to "open the workbook + worksheet" using VBS? Alternatively, is DDErequest> doable? Thanks.
