DDERequest & Excel

Post by lancerbaseball » Sun Mar 16, 2008 4:48 pm

Is there a source for the syntax when using DDERequest with Excel?

I use the following line, ripped from one of the examples:

DDERequest>Excel,filename,R%r%C3,field_2,60

This works well on the first tab of a worksheet, but won't work on others. I've tried using syntax similar to the formulas in Excel, but it generates errors.

Any help would be appreciated!

DDERequest>Excel,example.xls:sheet2,R5C1,field_1,60

Replace "sheet2" as necessary.
