I am trying to schedule a script to run every hour starting at 8:08 am to 5:08 PM, monday-friday. I set the schedule so that all checks are in place for all the days, and the time says 08:08 and 60min. Then I click into advanced options and change from repeat to stop and reset after... and I choose 17:15. I save and all looks well. I look atht e macro in the list and ist states 08:08. great, right? no. not really. it dosent run every hour. AND when I close the Macro scheduler program and restart it, I look in the list and that macro now states it should start at 17:09. I tried deleting the macro and creating a new one, but it still does the same thing. what am I doing wrong?

Scheduling keeps defaulting to a different time

Not sure why it isn't working, but:
1. Set the start time for a time greater than now
2. Enter the repeat interval
3. In Advanced set a later time for stop and reset after.
4. Leave recovery options to "Run at Scheduled Start Time"
5. Ok.
Now when start time comes round, macro will run, and schedule will advance by interval (60 mins in your case). Then at that time it will again advance by 60 mins ... etc. Once time reaches stop time, schedule will reset to initial start time.

Hmmm, This is strange. I gave up yesterday and came in today to find that the macro is indeed running on the schedule that I laid out yesterday. Maybe it was because I was trying to start it at 8am when the actual time was in the afternoon? I think you stated that it had to be a strt date in the future? dunno. but it is working. Great product. THanks for all the help and the quick responses in the forums.

Yep, Macro Scheduler can do many things, but so far, it can't travel back in time. So a start date won't take effect until that time comes round. It must be in the future. E.g. if you set the start time to 0800 and the time is now 1500 it won't do anything until 0800 the next day (assuming the days also match the schedule days).

flux capacitor....
Yes, I realize that at this time, time travel is not possible, but....
The original issue that I had was that it diddnt hold the start time to 08:08. It would change that start time to 17:09 (or whatever it was) when I exited the program and reopened it and look ed at the macro in the list. Thats the part that was throwing me off.
