Problems after compiled.

Post by Cyberdan » Sat May 19, 2007 1:38 am

Hi, I wrote about a problem found when I compile a macro that is running OK on Macro Scheduler.
I have tried to run it stand alone, but after compiled the following error occurred.

Error with let>-OPTS:; = missing

Marcus said:
"Your error is to do with the compiled in command line. You have a problem with the OPTS switch which is to do with the options during compile. Recompile the script."

Hi Marcus, thank you for your reply.
I am not using the command line, instead, I am compiling it with the "Compile" button on Macro Scheduler and even when I do not use any parameters I still getting this error.

Thanks,

Hello!

I can post the macro, but before I contact the forum, I've tried it on some of the samples that came with Macro Scheduler v9.1.02 (and I know for sure that they worked) and unfortunatelly I got the same error message :? .

Weird! I think I would try a fresh download and install. What OS?

Hi,

I am using Windows XP SP2 in Japanese.
I gave a try on reinstallation, but I got the same weird error.

Now, I installed it on another computer, without the MS previouly installed and try to compile one of the samples.

I got the same error :(

The other system has a Windows XP SP1 (in Japanese too)

By the way, the compiled script run, but I need to click in the button "OK" after the message "Error with Let>-OPTS:; = missing"

When I compile it, everything goes well, but when I try to run it I got that error.

I found the answer of this problem.

Hello!!

I figure out what was the problem.
When I compiled a macro to a folder named with some Japanese characters, the macro do not work.
If I save the macro with Japanese characters also, it will get the same error message.

So I need to save it to a folder without Japanese characters and without Japanese characters in the file name also.

After that I can rename the file using Japanese characters and it works fine :D
