OLEACC.DLL Missing

Post by SWhitsell » Wed May 09, 2007 11:02 pm

I installed Macro Scheduler Pro 9.X on NT4 SP4 and it install ok. After install I went to run the program and it could not find oleacc.dll. The file is not on the computer. What needs to be loaded so that Macro Scheduler Pro will runn. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

oleacc.dll is part of Windows. If it is missing from your machine you should run Windows Update. It should be there.

Did you know we are now offering affordable monthly subscriptions for Macro Scheduler Standard?

According to this article, an alternative to updating your NT to SP6a is:

"On Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0 (pre-SP6a) oleacc.dll can be installed with the "Microsoft Active Accessibility Redistributable" component, which is available for download from Microsoft. Version 1.3 only works on Windows 95, whereas version 2.0 and higher support Windows 95, Windows NT 4.0 and newer versions of Windows. "

(But of course it is good to be current with patches  )
