I have Windows XP Pro, and am running Macro Scheduler 8.0.1. Here is what I have done so far:
1. Turned OFF the windows welcome by unchecking the box "Secure Logon" (by the way, this is found in Settings->Control Panel->User Accounts->Advanced).
2. In Macro Scheduler, I turned ON the Scheduling Service using Tools->Options->Keep Scheduling on Exit.
3. I set up and saved a one-line Macro (messagemodal>Hello World)
4. I Clicked RMB on the Macro Name in Macro Scheduler, and picked Properties. I selected the "Run When" tab, and set up a day and time (today's day, and a time 5 minutes in the future).
5. I picked AutoLogon, I checked "Run as User", and I entered my own userID and password, the same ones I use to login and work.
6. I exited the macro scheduler and logged out.
The macro would not auto-log me in.
If I try to use just the "Run When" feature when I'm already logged in, the macro runs just fine and appears at the designated time.
I repeated this process a number of times without success.
Any suggestions?
Can't get AutoLogin to work

Hi,
You also need to disable Fast User Switching.
Control Panel / User Accounts / Change the way users log on or off
Then uncheck "Use Fast User Switching".

Did you know we are now offering affordable monthly subscriptions for Macro Scheduler Standard?

AutoLogon doesn't work in newest version: 8.0.3
I just bought and installed the newest version of Macro Scheduler Standard, but I can't get the AutoLogon to work. When The time is up and MS tries to unlock the computer, the unlock screen appears and the password is inserted, but then a dialog about wrong password appears, and MS doesn't do anymore. When I write the password myself, the computer logs on and shows that the macro is running.
What is wrong? How come doesn't it work? I am sure that every setting is right, I think the problem is that the application does something wrong when it writes the password in the unlock dialog.
