MacroScheduler to the rescue?

Post by TheMcD » Sat Feb 28, 2015 9:32 am

Hi All,

I'm coming from the uBot world where they are not as stable as I need and WinAutomation is very nicely structured but the company does not seem to be as solid as MacroScheduler seems.

I run an internet business and need a reliable tool (meaning a reliable company behind the tool)...

Now I know that the Web based portion of MacroScheduler is newer and I'm not sure how seasoned it is, but here is what I need to do:

Grab a list of stock option calls, as seen in these examples (tables):
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/op?s=ULTA+Options
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/op?s=SC+Options
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/op?s=AAPL+Options

As you can see the tables are of various lengths.

(1) I need to be able to loop through and grab each table
(2) Strip out each row
(3) Look for some certain values
(4) Save out the rows that meet the criterion

Is this something that MacroScheduler can handle easily (without workarounds)?

Now, I'd give it a try (using the demo), but I had the demo, life got me busy and the trial/demo is now over....

Thanks

Hi,

Yes, you can do this with the built in IE extraction/automation functions or possibly just using HTTPRequest and RegEx.

We'd be happy to help you with that.

We can also extend your trial for you. Please email our support desk: https://www.mjtnet.com/contact.htm

Did you know we are now offering affordable monthly subscriptions for Macro Scheduler Standard?
