Just noticed today a "new" dialog object property called "Touch". It seems to be new to Release 13. The property exists for all objects except Buttons, Check Boxes and Splitters (oddly those are objects one would expect to touch.) The property default value is set to either a number or False. I can't seem to get the value to change which might indicate this is a reported value. In any case I find nothing in Macro Scheduler help. I find nothing that seems pertinent searching Delphi for "touch".
What is this thing?

You can't use it, because there is no implementation of a Gesture Manager, and you'd need some kind of tablet or touch sensitive screen anyway. It's inherited, so it's there, but it's not of any use to us.

Hi,
It's been a few years since this was first asked. Are there any plans to bring gesture / touch dialog capabilities to MS?

Re: What is Dialog Object Property "Touch"
If Windows supports touch, Macro Scheduler does. In the sense that it will inherit standard operating system stuff. E.g I have a touch sensitive screen here and can control Macro Scheduler with it. The same would be true for using custom dialogs that you build. But perhaps you meant something else?

Re: What is Dialog Object Property "Touch"
A touch screen works like a mouse, with the help of the operating system. "Touch" capabilities with support for gestures goes beyond that to make the interface more finger friendly. Gesture support needs to be built into the program's UI.

Re: What is Dialog Object Property "Touch"
Ok. Well, what gestures would you like Macro Scheduler to support?
