Integration with web apps - where to start

I have a feeling that I can't see the trees for the forest. Anyway, I have a CRM that is web based and gives me a customer profile including product details (policy or claim number). I want to be able to click on the policy number and have macro scheduler get the focus of the appropriate mainframe session and navigate to the CICS transaction and enter the product details, thus providing seamless integration between the web and mainframe sessions. The mainframe sessions are running using Reflection for the Web. I assume you have to use Javascript to get the screen details and call MS somehow. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be appreciated. Thanks.
