We develope and distribute a lot of Access databases here. We currently use .bat files to handle the installation of the front ends on users' computers but I'd like to make everything a lot simpler for them by using Macro Scheduler and then compiling .exes.
Moving the files around is easy enough but I'd like to create a shortcut on the desktop. To do that, I need to know the user's network logon name. Is there a way to capture that? I'm betting this is possible since I haven't come up with an idea Macro Scheduler can't handle yet.
Thanks In Advance,
Josh
