Problems with many functions - Mouse clicks etc...

Post by Firebird2000 » Fri Sep 15, 2023 1:16 pm

Hello all,

I have been using Macro Scheduler Pro for over 10 years now to automate several functions. However it has suddenly stopped working. This happened to me last year as well, and it turned out that a Windows update caused the issue. This time, I cannot find the cause.
When I run my macro, the mouse will move to the required position, but it will not click the button. It just hovers over it. I cannot find the cause of it. It is happening on both of my laptops. What would cause this function to stop working? I have tried removing it and reinstalling it but no help. I am using version 14.0.17.

I tried the newer trial version but that did not fix the problem either. I would be willing to buy the new version if that would fix the problem, but I already bought the other version and cannot figure out why it suddenly stopped functioning.

Has anyone else had this problem? What can I do to fix it?

Thank you

Well, that seems to be it!
Not sure why it was working all this time and it happened suddenly.
So, I usually run my macros from the editor, so for now I have to open the editor as Admin using temporary credentials. Once I lose the credentials, I am screwed. Is there a way to fix this? Can I reinstall as Admin and then it will run as Admin by default? I don't want this to keep happening, then I will ha ve to request new Admin credentials each time. What can I do to make the software editor run as Admin by default?

Thank you!
