How important is this feature for future versions of Macro Scheduler?

Important, even if the size/efficiency of Macro Scheduler increases/degrades

ENHANCEMENT REQUEST: Dialog Timeout

Post by Bob Hansen » Tue Apr 29, 2003 2:37 pm

A nice feature to add to the Dialog would be a setting for Timeout period and a Timeout Button Value.

This would allow a Dialog come up, wait x seconds/mins for a response. If no response, Timeout Button Value will be sent to result.

Hmmm, I guess maybe I could do that now by using IF>Result=,CloseDialogWindow or
WaitWindowClose and WW_TIMEOUT, and setting Result with that condtion.

Never mind, I just talked myself into a possible workaround, but I guess it could still be considered for INPUT> and ASK> commands with default values. Thanks for listening.

Added a poll for input from others........

Upon further review, I would still like to see this as an option vs. trying to create a workaround every time.
