Besides spell check, I found another advantage here with Firefox.
Using IE 6, when you use the search function to search these forums, you get a page of search results. If you click one of them to go read it, then click the back button to go read a different one, you get this:
So you click the Refresh button and this pops up...your IE 6 browser wrote:Warning: Page has Expired The page you requested was created using information you submitted in a form. This page is no longer available. As a security precaution, Internet Explorer does not automatically resubmit your information for you.
To resubmit your information and view this Web page, click the Refresh button.
Now click Retry and it allows you to see the search results page again.your IE 6 browser wrote:The page cannot be refreshed without resending the information.
Click Retry to send the information again,
or click Cancel to return to the page that you were trying to view.
(Retry) (Cancel)
None of this nonsense with Firefox, just click the Back button and the search results page is right there.
A workaround if you have no choice but IE would be to hold the SHIFT key down when you click each search result link as this will cause it to open in a separate window, read it there, then close and go back for the next.
This Firefox spell check feature is great, thanks for pointing it out (first seen in Marcus' Blog).
