Well I thought I would try this script out, but made a small modifcation to it and it doesn't seem to run at all. The file I am trying to place the prefix on each line is on the desktop. Here is what I am trying: Let>CF_OVERWRITE=1 Let>k=1 DeleteFile>C:\Documents and Settings\Jason\Desktop\temp2.txt...

Hmmm, the more I look at it the more I think its not quite what I was thinking. I don't need 2 different files. I have one .txt file that gets opened in notepad, the script runs thru it and cleans it of junk I don't need for my database. But now I need to put a (prefix) at the beginning of each line...

Thanks for the help. Also I already added a wait>2 before sending the text and have adjusted it up to wait>4 but the script seems to (at random time) truncate the beginning of the string I am sending to the field. The screen I need to send type to definately is up and sitting for a couple of seconds...

Sending Text
When I send text to a field for say finding a file on my hard drive, is there a way to slow down how fast the text goes in. I think that it is being sent to fast and windows is unable to pic up on the full directory path. For example: I need this (C:/my document/my path/to some file.txt But I'm gett...

RE: Timing?
Unfortunately Photoshop doesn't spit out any text such as "Process Done". If it did I would have used the loop feature you discussed. My only thought on it was could I have Macro Scheduler somehow recognize that Photoshop is processing something and when it was finished Macro Scheduler could pick it...

Timing?
Hello, I was wondering if anyone new how I could determine when photoshop was done running a batch process. Heres what I've got. The automation script downloads a zip file. Extracts the file to a folder on my desktop. Then the automation script opens Photoshop up and runs a Photoshop Automation Scri...

Incosistant Running of Scripts
I have been using Scheduler 7.3 for the last several months. I have noticed that sometimes the scripts do not execute their commands. I have not changed the script and run it every day. Some days it will run through without any problems and other times it will run and then just hang up at point. I d...

Thanks
Thanks for the help. Of course it was something so silly as a tiny extra little space. Gosh it's funny when you stare at something for so long to try and figure out the mistake, how you can still miss it.

Hello. I am trying to attach a file to be sent via email using the "SMTPSendMail>" function. Maybe someone can tell me why the script will not send the attachement. And yes the file is in the correct location with the correct name. Heres what I have: Day>the_day Month>the_month Year>the_year Let>SMT...

Wait Window Open and Close
Wanted to know why it would seem that child windows in some programs don't seem to be recognized with WaitWindowOpen> and WaitWindowClosed> commands? Even when using wildcard *.
