Re: Wait for mouse button to be released

Here is one way to capture mouse button release. I think there is a Microsoft API that I've tried but this usually works and is something I can remember. Basically, make a transparent dialog that covers the screen. And use the built in "MouseUp" dialog event handler. In this example I placed the dia...

Re: FindImagePos and return_offset

Hi Keith,
The image offset parameter only works with BMP or PNG files. Only returns top left location of JPGs no matter what you attempt to specify.

Re: Let CreateDir create a full path

As I stated in the original post, all you need is DOS. Add Let > RP_Windowmode =0 to avoid the DOS popup window Let>TEST_PATH=%SCRIPT_DIR%\hello\you\how\are\you\doing GoSub>CREATE_FOLDERS,TEST_PATH Let>TEST_PATH=%SCRIPT_DIR%\YO\you\how\are\you\doing GoSub>CREATE_FOLDERS,TEST_PATH SRT>CREATE_FOLDERS ...

Re: Secure Email Detection

WinSCP is not working either. The only thing I've found that will connect other than actual email client software is Macro Scheduler's RetrievePOP3 function. RetrievePOP3 and email clients want to download all of the mail each time they check. This would not be terrible if I could delete the mail fr...

Re: Secure Email Detection

Thank you for your reply. I have already tried putty and could not make a telnet or ssh connection to the "cloud" email server. I'll look into winscp though it will likely have the same result as putty As I stated prior, I wrote this ten years ago. It is a series of macros that do different things s...

Secure Email Detection

Back in aught eight, I wrote a Macro Scheduler program to detect new emails sitting on our email server for each of about 100 users. The process takes from 30 seconds to 10 minutes depending on how many email messages the users leave sitting in their In Boxes. The program uses the Macro Scheduler te...

Re: how to remove "macro scheduler" text in message box

The following code demonstrates an easy method to change the standard Message > title in an uncompiled script. There is also code to make a standard message modal. This code might be needed because you could not otherwise alter the title of a standard modal message box in an uncompiled script. Messa...

Re: Position of spaces

I don't think you need space positions to do this. See code below. Let>str1=I go to Cali today. //Use StringReplace> to clear out any potential punctuation from all strings StringReplace>str1,.,space,str1 StringReplace>str1,comma,space,str1 Let>str2=I won't go to Cali tomorrow. StringReplace>str2,.,...

Re: Position of spaces

I don't understand what you're asking. If you want to know how to create a variable that contains the data you want displayed in a message look at the script created for your space positions. There is a variable called "vSpacePositions". Notice how it was developed and then used in the script. If th...

Re: Position of spaces

Here's one possible way. Separate the string by internal variable %space%, then get the lengths of the separated words and do the math. Let>vString=I go to Cali today. Separate>vString, space, var Let>vSpacePositions= Let>vTotal=0 Let>kk=0 Repeat>kk Add>kk,1 Let>value=var_%kk% Length>value,vLen Add>vL...

Re: Memo Stops Updating

"Text" is the Dialog1 MSMemo1 property. Remove "text" from all variables. If the value of "text" becomes, for example, "1234". You have effectively changed
SetDialogProperty>Dialog1,MSMemo1,Text,variable
to
SetDialogProperty>Dialog1,MSMemo1,1234,variable
