FYI: The link is pointing to a page that says "System Variables" at the top with just emptiness below it.

But I found it in the offline help documentation, and it is much appreciated!

WOOHOO!!!

Thank you!

I don't see anything like this in the documentation, and

Code: Select all

echo 1%TAB%2
does not work at a command prompt either (it just prints "12").

If you happen to know where this information is, please let me know.

Thanks a lot!

How to put a TAB into the clipboard?

I need to PASTE a tab into a dialog's text box. PRESS-ing the tab takes me to another field. Pasting it works.

How do I put a tab into the clipboard? I don't see how to do this with either PutClipBoard or Ascii. Thank you for helping me!

I am worried that I'm getting no response because the question regards a competitor product. I am using BOTH Macro Scheduler and PhraseExpress . I have more than 6,000 phrases in PhraseExpress, and as much as I would love to migrate it all over to MS, I need all macros that must be TRIGGERED BY A SE...

The pauses between the keystrokes is .5 seconds (SameFocus--stays in the same window) and 1 second (new focus).

Automating PhraseExpress file import

I am trying to automate a multi-file import into PhraseExpress (which is another macro program and key-stroke listener). That is, I'm trying to import multiple plain text files, each containing PhraseExpress macros, one per line. I'm trying to use Macro Scheduler to automate that process. Specifical...

A little heartache I can spare others: Using this Macro>%sMACDIR%generic\ci_missing_rqd_param.scp /sMName=key_modified /sPName=k /sValue=%k% Worked fine. Using this Macro>%sMACDIR%generic\ci_missing_rqd_param.scp /sMName=key_modified/sPName=k/sValue=%k% Did not. It caused b to equal FALSE: Assigned>...

Bob!

I finally am diving into Macro Scheduler.

Annoyed I can't call macros with key-strings (like by typing runmymacro` --and executing from another program, via the command-line, is intolerably slow), but otherwise really pleased so far.

Nice to see you hanging around here :)

That worked. Thank you!!!

I still don't know why it didn't work though, without the extension. The error message above clearly has that ".scp" extension, even though I didn't put it in the code.

But whatever. It works now. PHEW.

Lesson: Write the extension explicitly.

Thanks again.

Yeah, me too...

I'm having the same problem. I'm stepping through a simple macro that calls another, and this is the error I'm getting. http://jeffyepstein.com/posts/macro_scheduler_SCRIPT_DIR_error.JPG You can see in the debugging output that SCRIPT_DIR is "R:\...", not"C:\..."--and CERTAINLY not "C:\...R:\...". I realize the permissions above are for the shortcut, not the application itself. I updated the application permissions as well to the same thing. I tried again and still have the same problem.

Newbie: Error when attempting to record

I'm just getting started with MacroScheduler (11.1.18, Windows 7, 3GB ram), but I've come across a real problem. I'm trying to record my first macro (not write one, just record my actions). I'm opening Macro Scheduler "as administrator", and then clicking "Record". After it tells me "Click Alt+Ctrl+...
