WebRecorder and Javascript

Hi,

I have one of those little pop-up JavaScript calendars to get date information from users. Works fine manually.

However, when my WebRecorder script clicks on it, the browser window goes blank.

How can I handle this?

TIA

Rob.

WebRecorder and localhost

Belay that last post!

Turns out MySQL had been stopped and I wasn't patient enough to wait for the timeout message...

Sorry.

WebRecorder

Hi,

I am trying out the above (again!) and when in recording mode, the various submit buttons work fine when on my remote web site, but not when running on my test machine, localhost.

Is there something I should be doing so that I can test the site locally before uploading it to the web?

TIA

Newbie with WebRecorder

Downloaded a trial version of the above - recorded a simple scenario and then tried to play it back. The mouse goes to the top left hand corner ( so somethings working! ) but then nothing! Am I supposed to have IE open before I start the script, or closed?
Any help would be appreciated..
TIA

Erratic behaviour

I have been using Macro Scheduler for some years now and have been using it mainly for small automation tasks. Recently, I have started to use for automating software testing. I am starting to wonder if it is as stable as it could be. Macros that work one minute fail with error messages the next. Th...
