AppNavigator - Point and Click Enterprise Automation

appnav_new1 AppNavigator is the easiest way to create powerful cross-platform automation routines. With AppNavigator you don't have to write a line of code. Just show AppNavigator what to do. AppNavigator sees the screen just like you. Create steps by capturing screen objects graphically. Highlight an object on the screen and then tell AppNavigator what to do with it by selecting from preselected actions. You can even tell AppNavigator what to do if it doesn't find it and benefit from powerful built in failover technology.

Your automation routine becomes a story-board of graphical objects. Each one representing a step in the process. Assign pre and post actions to each object such as sending a mouse event, sending text, running another script or program, retrieving data from a database, sending emails, and more.

Because AppNavigator works graphically you don't need to know, or care, about object handles, or Windows API calls, or even object positioning. The underlying user interface technology is no longer important as AppNavigator "sees" the screen.

AppNavigator works seamlessly with Macro Scheduler. Set an action to run a regular Macro Scheduler script, or run an AppNavigator process from a Macro Scheduler script. So anything you can do in Macro Scheduler you can do in AppNavigator.

AppNavigator - Image Capture

Here's how to create an automation routine with AppNavigator:

  • Hit AppNav Hotkey (CTRL+F12).
  • Drag the cross-hairs over the first screen object, such as a desktop icon.
  • Select the actions for this image.
  • Repeat for each step.
Yes, it's that simple! When played back AppNavigator literally watches the screen for the images and acts on your instructions.

  •  Cross-platform Automation TOP

Because AppNavigator works by seeing the screen it can automate any target operating system.

Using VNC, AppNavigator can automate another Windows, Mac OS X, UNIX, LINUX, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX or VMS machine. AppNavigator doesn't care about the UI technology or the operating system, as long as it can SEE it. If you can see the application on the screen, AppNavigator can automate it.

    Dear Marcus

Having visited your web site over the past few months and analysed the on-line demo's, I was convinced that your product would help me in shortening the time I had to spend on one particular aspect of my business, so much so that I purchased AppNavigator and Macro Scheduler primarily for this one task.

This task, meant me spending on average at least 1-2 days per month, and having just ran the same task using your product I am delighted to state that it was completed in under 1 hour with no complications - other than one small glitch (my fault) which was superbly addressed by your support team. This is all the more impressive when you consider that I am not a programmer and have never written a line of code in my life.

The task that used to take me 1-2 days a month to do manually is now fully automated at night. Put another way, from my perspective the product has already paid for itself and the savings will be ongoing.

Furthermore the time I have saved will also be productive and so produce further benefits, and this is without considering the human aspect of tedium with repetitive tasks, which should really never be overlooked.

I hate to tempt the god's by saying this (just in case you decide to hike the pricing!) but your product is indeed excellent value for money, and straightforward to use.

I have now identified other tasks within the business where your products will once again save me time, and further enhance the "investment" in your software.

Often in life we are quick to criticise and slow to praise, so hopefully this letter of appreciation will help redress this imbalance.

    In thanks and appreciation.

    Yours Sincerely,
    Gerry Pentleton
