Compiled version failing

Post by kpassaur » Thu May 07, 2020 10:42 am

I have a script that ftp files and the compiled version fails. First off I have checked and the open source files are being copied into the directory with the compiled file so that is not it. I have checked and the ones in MS do not seem to be the latest so I tried later versions as well (that did not correct the issue). Then I thought I better put them back so I deleted them, recompiled and MS put them back in with the executable.

I have attached the file so perhaps someone can figure it out.

The password is ABCABC. Keep in mine this works fine until compiled. It is a useful script as it encrypts all of your ftp settings so no one can access them.

Security settings in Windows now require you to all what you compile to go through the windows firewall.

Unsigned apps are given more scrutiny. You may want to consider code signing, especially if you plan to distribute:

Yes, I sign them. It just kills me to pay for what is really nothing - year after year to prove I am still me.

Welcome to our world. We pay thousands monthly for 'what is really nothing' so that we can do business. Do you know who I should complain to? ;-)
