multiple instances of a single macro

Post by Tourless » Wed Aug 14, 2019 7:30 pm

Hi Folks,

Had a strange thing happen to me the other day... I noticed my scheduler window had multiple instances of a single macro listed over and over. If I delete any one of them and then try to edit or run one of the others, I'm met with a 'can't be found' message and I have to restore the script file from the recycle bin. Looking in my scheduler folder I see multiple instances of all the scripts I have which all end with different numbered extensions (.001, .002, etc) which I assume are snapshot backups. But only this one script show up multiple times in the scheduler window.

Anyone run into this before and/or know how to fix this? do I simply have to uninstall and reinstall the application? Thanks in advance...

I'm wondering if one of your .dat files have become corrupted. In which case an uninstall/reinstall following these steps should fix the issue.

The .001/2/3/4/5 files are indeed backups. From within the Script Editor, you can see the following :

Backup Options : >Tools >Backup Options
View Backups : >Tools View Backups. (you can also open the backups from here)
Yes, we have a Custom Scripting Service. Message me or go here
