Sorted Getfilelist

Post by kpassaur » Tue Oct 04, 2016 5:06 pm

Perhaps it is just me but I think it would be nice if the Getfilelist could bring back a sorted list. Currently I branch out to Dos and run the Dir command with the options I want and I then direct it to a text file. At this point I read each line in the file to get the oldest file first.

Just a thought.

GetFileList mirrors what Windows (DOS if you will) returns. If you want to sort it you can always use Separate and then ArraySort.

But, if you want to sort by something other than filename, then, sure there's no way other than use DOS commands at present. So will add this to the wish list.
