[Open] Help File "IfFileChanged" - range missing

Post by jpuziano » Fri Oct 18, 2013 5:37 pm

Hi Marcus,

In the Help File for MS 10.1.21 I see the example for IfFileChanged is:
Help File for MS 10.1.21 wrote:To see if test.txt is less than 30 days old :

IfFileChanged>test.txt,end
However in my copy of MS 14.0.14 the example reads:
Help File for MS 14.0.14 wrote:To see if test.txt is less than 30 days old :

IfFileChanged>test.txt
MessageModal>test.txt is less than 30 days old
Endif
- The range value is missing, please correct this in the Help File and the on-line Help

- What are the other types of ranges we can use?

- For example, can we use any of the following?

10 (greater than 10 days i.e. 11 days or more)
=10 (greater than or equal to 10 days)
>10<30 (meaning greater than 10 AND less than 30 i.e. at least 11 and not over 29)
10-30 (meaning at least 10 and not over 30)
10 (meaning 10 days only)
10-10 (meaning 10 days only)

It would be nice if all valid ways of expressing a range were listed in this Help Topic.

Thanks and take care
JP

...then please add your thoughts/support at the above post - :-)

Thanks JP,

I'm working on an alternative now. :)

Nicely spotted.
