Edit during debug

I have no idea if this is possible and it would certainly require some constraint to prevent it from occurring accidentally.

As I was in the editor stepping my way through automating a long, many screened, lots of variables process today. It sure would have been nice to be able to stop the debugger, make a change to a line of code and restart the debugger without losing all the variable settings, window focus settings etc.

What do you think?
