Arithmetic Expressions in Help

Post by Bob Hansen » Mon Feb 07, 2005 4:08 pm

I would like to suggest that you add the Arithmetic/String/Conditional functions to the Search Index for help.

A search right now would not easily let one know that functions like Round, Integer, Absloute, Power, Fraction, and other good functions are available. Complex Expressions sounds more like nested IF/THEN/ELSE and array types of tools.

In the index, use the common words as noted above, vs. the function syntax which is probably unknown when using Help.
Hope this was helpful..................good luck,

Yes these things are easily missed out. We're always discovering topics that aren't indexed properly.

So we don't forget, can you add this as a feature request to bugtracker:
http://www.mjtnet.com/bugtracker

That way we will be sure to sort it out for next release.

Interestingly I just opened up Macro Scheduler's help, clicked on the Search tab and typed Round and top of the list was "Arithmetic Functions". Within which was Round. So not sure why you didn't find it.
