Hotkey to call script

Post by ruanseb » Fri Dec 01, 2017 10:47 pm

I use some keybord letters to call some scripts bc it make easier to me.

But when i add a keyboard letter to call a script the macro block her input in everywhere.

I did a workaround editing the top of script to send caps (bc the macro send the letter in uppercase), then send the letter used to call the scIrpt, and after deactive caps, but it failing many times if i write so fast, and is a problem when typing.

Im writing to ask if its possible to stop the macro block the key input, used to call the script.

Hot keys are system wide. It's a very very bad idea to set a single letter key as a system wide hotkey!

Hot keys are not designed to work the way you are trying to use them.
