Question on IE Process Memory

Post by verbatim7 » Mon Jun 26, 2017 7:46 pm

Hi All,

I have a looping script designed to input data into a DISH.COM website which is Javascript based. It uses Image Recognition and Mouse/Keyboard clicks to refresh the Webform (4-5 searches overall)

The problem I am running into is the the IE11 process (iexplore.exe) memory usage builds with each cycle of the form (about 2 MB increase on each entry)

This causes the the Script to fail after about 150-200 entries as the IE instance becomes unstable. The Macro Schedule process remains stable over the process.

It seems like an issue with the site but I am just curious if anyone has run into this problem on their own scripts or if there was a trick/command to make IE11 "clear" its memory?

Thanks!
