Comparebitmap returns 0

Post by dimitriss » Sat Jun 17, 2017 8:51 pm

I am comparing two screenshots at regular intervals to see if something on a specific portion of the screen has changed.
I do this every 10 seconds and pop up a message if there is change. My threshold is 95% and it works very well.

However, over the past few days, I get quite a few false positives and the match is at 0% even though the screenshots are identical.
I had to resort to setting up a complex if statement to avoid the false positives but i'm wondering what causes the problem in the first place.

I'd need to see the two bitmaps and compare them to see why.
