How to Use Screen Capture

Post by alex20850 » Tue May 30, 2017 10:10 pm

I am using the Trial Version of MacroScheduler.
I want to capture the command paths listed in Excel 2016, File,Options, Quick Access Toolbar as you highlight each of the command short names.

I need a macro that will:
1) Use down arrow to move through the commands - nearly 2,000 - one by one
2) Wait until the path appears -
While the paths vary in length, by moving by arrow the paths should appear on the same line each time.
3) Save the path as text or image to individual files or to a master file
If saved as images, I have a good OCR program.

P.S. I am doing this as part of a documentation project for keyboard rather than mouse users - especially the blind and visually impaired. I asked Microsoft for a list of the commands and their locations and I was told "that no official documentation is available to list them [the commands].
