Licence Code Violation Aborting

Post by CyberCitizen » Wed Jan 04, 2017 3:42 am

Hey Guys,

Started a new role today and took my copy of MS Pro (Latest Version) with me. I have been creating some scripts today and received the below error message: Licence Code Violation Aborting. I have since emailed support as well. I have been using MS for quite a while and this is the first time I have seen this. I use a portable version I bundled together, so I am always using the same version & scripts when I take it with me. So normally MS is only used in one or two locations together. Eg home PC & at work, normally only one at a time though. I have checked the registry and about section and confirmed that I am using the correct licence code which matches the licence code in my download section.

MS Support have replied and it appears to be related to the amount of activations registered against my licence key possibly due to my portable version I take with me. Working with MS Support to resolve this issue.
