SaveAs Behavior?

Post by Guest1 » Wed Apr 28, 2004 11:43 am

Question as to the behavior in the Script Editor of the Save As command. I believe normal Windows behavior after a SaveAs is to have the open file be the 'new' file (the one with the 'Save As' name). However, the Script Editor instead saves a copy of the current file under the new name but then keeps the open file as the one with the old name. Almost lost some changes I had made because of this behavior. Any reason 'Save As' doesn't follow the normal Windows convention? Thanks.
