I would like to file my latest mythbuster report as to HTTPRequest.
After furhter hours of tests, I confirm:
1. HTTPRequest writes a perfectly correct UTF-8 file.
2. HTTPRequest 'forget' to add BOM.
As a result the text file/string created by HTTPRequest causes tons of problems to other MS commands.
For example, the Chinese web page in question already declares itself in UTF-8 format:
It's incomprehensible why Marcus didn't add the BOM.
