WebRecorder IEAuto.DLL functions to open existing IE window

I was looking at "Attaching to an existing Internet Explorer instance" and have not been able to figure out how to use the WebRecorder functions yet

In light of the WebRecorder, what is the current method to attach to an existing IE Window and get back the right handle?
