Observation Report--Office 2003 Compatibility

Post by armsys » Wed Nov 26, 2003 1:42 am

You will be happy to know that Macro Scheduler is absolutely compatible with the latest Office 2003 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, Frontpage, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project). Most scripts written for Office XP do require some minor modification due to the changes of keyboard shortcuts and/or menu hotkeys, and the size of viewing panes. Nonetheless, the modification is minimal. For example, instead of tedious keystrokes to switch views between mail, calendar, task, and note, you just press CTRL 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 in Office Outlook 2003. Most Office 2003's UIs are vastly simplified, which also translate into shorter and faster Macro Scheduler scripts.

The same Macro Scheduler scripts work robustly for both English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai version of Microsoft Office.

Last but not the least, the enormous power of Office can't be realized unless it's completely automated by Macro Scheduler.
