Problem Invoking MacroScheduler Script from MSAccess

Post by MohammedMujeeb » Sat Oct 26, 2002 8:21 pm

Greetings Fellow Scripters,
I am having trouble invoking the MacroScheduler script from MSAccess. The script itself has been tested and seems to be working well in the MacroScheduler 5.01 environment. It runs "On-Demand" when invoked using "Run Now" button. It runs "On-Schedule" using the "Run When" option. But when I invoke the script from MSAccess, it starts the MacroScheduler and gives me an error code like this:

Code: Select all

Access violation at address 0042DD7B in module 'msched.exe'. Read of Address 000013D.
When you click OK to the error dialog box. It goes away leaving the MacroScheduler still running. (characterized by blinking gear wheel in the systray).

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am using 5.01 vb versioin of MacroScheduler.
Windows 2000 professional as the Operating system (5.00.2195 SP-2).
MS Access 2000 (9.0.3821 SR-2)

Regards,

Hi,

You are using quite an old version and there have been many improvements to the way macros are invoked by the command line in subequent releases. Version 7.0 is the latest and will fix the issues you are getting when invoking via the command line.
