'Run When' - Schdeluler Problem - Skips Macros :(

Post by Nightshade » Thu Mar 31, 2005 2:34 pm

System: Windows XP Pro with a service pack 2
Macro Scheduler version 7.2.043

I have 8 macros that are scheduleded to run at 1:30, 4:30, 7:30, 10:30, 13:30, 16:30, 19:30, 22:30 every day & my computer reboots beetween these macros. For some reason, Macro Scheduler scips some macros, fe it doesn't start my macro at 7:30 & at 4:30. I don't understand why & I even changed my regional setting to England (24 hours system) instead of having US, thought it may help, but I don't see any improvements

Please help me if you know what's going on & why this program randomly scips some scheduled macros. Thank You!

P.S. I have 2 different macros that I want to run every 3 hours = 8 macros in 24 hour period if I use a scheduling option. In the beginning I scheduled my 2 macros to run at 4:30 and 7:30 and chose an opton 'Repeat it every 3 hours' every day. It didn't work at all! Started at $4:30 and 7:30 but never repeated them. Maybe it had to do something with my rebooting? Very frustrated :(

Download the update. Issues with skipping repeating macros were fixed in 7.3: http://www.mjtnet.com/index.htm?page=mswhatsnew.html

I'm sorry, I gave you wrong version number - looked at old Macro Scheduler on a laptop.
What I have is 7.3. 05 (2004) and it skips scheduled time. I'll ask my father to recover his email he used to register with MJTNET website & try to upgrade to the latest, 2005, version, but I'm not optimistic because you mentioned that issues with skipping were fixed in 7.3 version and my current version is 7.3, which skips macros all the time absolutely randomly
Btw they're not repeating macros - just scheduled to run at different times

Did you ever download tthe update to ensure you're on thge latest version ?

I'm curious, because I've had issues fixed in the latest releases.
(And I also want to know if it's been fixed.)
