Forum Spam

Post by Marcus Tettmar » Wed Jul 16, 2014 11:36 am

Since upgrading our forum there has been an increase in the amount of spam. Apologies if you have seen such spam. They generally get deleted quite quickly but we have also made some changes to try and help prevent it in future.

I think this spam is coming from "spambots". The new forum was using just a simple CAPTCHA image on registration whereas we used to have a kind of "turing" test where you had to look up a number on a different page. We've gone back to a similar system.

Did you know we are now offering affordable monthly subscriptions for Macro Scheduler Standard?
