Still getting "cannot write to comdef.ini" errors

Post by jamesF852 » Thu May 05, 2011 2:19 am

I see from the change log that this was fixed in 12.1.0 but it still occurs - I've only seen this on Windows 7, and not on the previous XP machine that we were testing with.

Is there a workaround / a change I need to make to my system configuration? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the most recent version 12.1.5 but that doesn't solve the problem.

Only other thing I can think of is that my Documents folder is on a network drive (previously on the C drive of the computer) but I have full permissions over that folder - nothing else seems to be different.
