If you open a textfile in "Notepad" where the first line is .LOG Windows enters time and date every time you open the file.
Nice to create a log:
.LOG
16:14 03/06/13
Mum called
18:22 03/06/14
Mum called again
20:45 03/06/15
Sold mum to a call center
