The captions / text on components in Dialog's won't dereference when VAREXPLICIT is set to 1.
Let>Blah.msEdit1=%strA%

The text of the edit literally says "Blah.msEdit1".
It's possible to set VAREXPLICIT to 0 before the "show", or set it to 0 and do a ResetDialogAction, then set it back ot 1 ... but is a little pesky each time.
