Recording stops at about line 530 of the code

Post by Carlo Luigi » Wed Jun 08, 2022 8:40 am

Hello everyone, kindly, the recording of an automatic test with "Macro Scheduler Lite" (at the moment the Trial Version) stops at about line 530 of the code, then doesn't record anything anymore, all subsequent actions are not recorded.. I would like to know if this has happened to you too and if there is a solution. It would be a big problem.
Thank you!
Carlo

If the recording simply stops, it can often be related to anti-spyware/anti-virus/anti-malware software running. If you have those, try disabling them and see if you can then record. If so, re-enable your security software and then set it to ignore/allow Macro Scheduler.

Also if part of your recording is trying to control an application that runs as admin, you may find parts of your recording that interact with that application are missing. The recording shouldn't stop though - it just won't contain those parts. Running Macro scheduler as admin is the solution there.

If neither of these solutions help, then often an uninstall/reinstall following these steps will resolve hard-to-explain issues.

Incidentally there isn't a trial version of Lite. The trial is Macro Scheduler Std.
Yes, we have a Custom Scripting Service. Message me or go here
