What ever happened to points?

Well, I pretty much used that up in the title.

We used to be able to give points to users that helped us out with a problem. Do we not give a crap any more?
Hey, I just wanna know what the 'IN' thing is now.

I'm telling on you...

Hello you people, I just had an epiphany. If you see this after you edit a post..... Last edited by <username> on Fri Jan 01, 2021 10:17 pm, edited 1 time in total. What that means is it's telling on you for modifying your post in a significant way. We have a rat fink on this forum, and I thought yo...

Re: decimal point and compare

Hi erik, Hey! Awesome! I'm glad you were able to get it to work. Great job. I'm gonna call and see that they give you a well deserved raise. PepsiHog [edit] - Just as a side note, in your actual script you shouldn't need to specify the separator any longer. You're processing the info and the s...

Re: Entering Invalid Characters

Ok. I may be completely misunderstanding you. And I'm sorry if I am. Is the youtube video your script or was that some other user you were just using as an example?

Yes. I think Rus/Eng layout is a very good possibility for the different character.

Re: Script on Dropbox causes occasional access violation

Hi Krep, My thought is it may be a timing issue. Such as maybe Dropbox isn't ready for input.(???) Maybe you need a delay at some point in your macro. I'm also wondering how you are going about putting the script into Dropbox. Is your macro trying to "writeln" it into Dropbox or do you write the scr...

Re: decimal point and compare

Hi erik, If decimal works for you, why are you trying to use comma? I know some countries use comma instead. I guess what I am asking is what is the purpose for this macro. This is difficult to express. I'm thinking you may need to process information that has commas and not decimals. The reason I a...

Re: Doesn't work with Interactive Brokers Workstation (IBWS)

Hi windowsbot, I currently have v14 of MS. I know there are some types of windows that you can't detect in the usual way with MS. Ofcourse that may have changed in v15. Such as graphic windows, are usually not detectable. I reserve the right to be wrong. But am 99.999999999999999999999 percent sure ...

Re: Consume a result

hagchr, Ok. I see what you're saying. I thought if the result was left out you'd have no result. So what you're telling me is naming is unnecessary. Ok. See you just learnited me. (That's an intentional joke.) I didn't know leaving out a result still produced a result. Interesting. Thanks for your p...

Re: Consume a result

Hello hagchr, I'm not sure. I think you may be on a level with RegEx that I haven't yet achieved. How can $base be empty? $Base is the result that I'm asking for. If I used $1, that would ask for the result of the first group in the pattern. I don't mind your inquiries. I might learn something that ...

Re: Consume a result

I sound like I'm asking for something different in the initial post. I wanted to exclude them, with the result being what I excluded. Like I said, I was pretty sure I had done it before. But sorry if I was misleading or unclear. Frankly, it wasn't clear in my head either. I thought you may like to s...

Re: Consume a result

Hey hagchr, Merry Christmas! And now... on with the show.... Actually, no, you do not have it right. I want the dups. The dups indicate a positive match between two strings. I am looking to see if a result happened twice. Working on a macro that deals with numbers, and $Dove was an awesome find for ...

Re: Consume a result

Howdy, So I just started playing around with RegEx. I didn't expect to solve anything more, I was just playing. I have these screen captures of these cheat sheets I captured from online. I was just looking at a cheat sheet and saw this part about naming a group. I've seen this before, but I never th...
