Re: ChromeFindElements Button click not working

The odd thing is that clicking the crayon worked for me every single time I tried it in the editor, but not when run normally. I tried a lot of different experiments, but in the end found patience and persistence to be the key - click it, wait, click it again, wait.... this worked for me 5 times out...

Re: ChromeFindElements Button click not working

It doesn't look like you're doing anything wrong. That's exactly the same code I'd use. If you double click the elementBtnProf array in the watch list, what do you see? What is the value of elementBtnProf_count? If it's 0, it's not finding that element, which means maybe it's in a frame? This may he...

Re: Excel functions to move

I see. So it's really just posting to cells? To move down, just add 1 to the row. You can do this in a loop This would post to cells A5,B5,C5,D5,E5 on the first cycle, then A6,B6,C6,D6,E7 on the seconds, and so on. Of course just to set one cell you'd need 1 line and not 5, but this is a good exampl...

Re: random

Random generates whole numbers, so if we generate a number between 10 and 22 then divide it by 100, we get what you're looking for. Then we can use it as a variable. I'm not too sure what you mean by a random click, but am guessing it's a random wait between clicks (because mouse movements need to b...

Re: Trying to execute onClick

Those colours and XXs will help you understand xpath, and once you understand that you'll be using it all the time. I suggest creating a snippet (in the snippets tab) so you have the 4 line sample easily at hand.

Re: Trying to execute onClick

I tend to rely quite heavily on XPath because it's so versatile. ChromeFindElements>session_id,xpath,//input[@type='submit'],el ChromeElementAction>session_id,el_1,click This will help understand a little more : < input type =" submit" onclick="2KKM25268FGTR0IDC6FIL04KV4_form_submit();" value="Conti...

Re: Favorite browser for Web automation

I've actually had some very recent success with Firefox. At first, it didn't seem to be the best choice, but I was having trouble with Edge, even just manually, and the Chrome functions weren't working for me either. So I was kind of forced into using Firefox, and it turned out pretty good. So far,...

Re: wait for image and loops

My understanding is that you want to click the mouse at a given position until an image is visible. This will click at 1340,218, wait 1 seconds, then look for your r2 image. If that image is found it will exit the loop. If it is not found, it will mousemove, click, wait 1 second, and look again. Not...

Re: Favorite browser for Web automation

I don't think there's a simple answer to this, as it depends on what you're automating. Macro Scheduler 15 has functions for Chrome, Edge, and IE. So that narrows the choice to those three. MS14 didn't have the Chrome and Edge functions. But it largely relies on the site in question, and what you wa...
