Re: UIAutomation Name vs. UIAutomation Value

Hi hagchr, Thanks so much for replying so quickly. Sorry I probably wasn't overly clear in my initial description. Really the case of calculator was an example of a potentially problematic situation (one that was raised to me by one of our devs as a problem scenario). It's interesting that the new W...

UIAutomation Name vs. UIAutomation Value

Hi, I know this is a simple case, but does raise a few questions that I'm not sure have already been answered... If I utilise the UI functions such as UIClick it appears that the mach criteria for the object name applies some internal logic that appears to cause some problems. It appears that the ma...

Re: Optimising bitmap detection

Very early days for me with Macro scheduler, so thanks so much for such a detailed and well thought out response (again), and also for the tutorial on custom events, I need to look a bit further into using those in the future. In terms of scanning a sub-screen area for a matching bitmap, I think for...

Re: Optimising bitmap detection

Thanks for the quick reply. Perhaps I'm missing something, but if I use findImagePos then when scanning the "SCREEN" haystack my understanding is that it will scan the whole screen (or potentially window, but in my case the window is full screen, so much the same), the only way that I can get a subs...

Optimising bitmap detection

We would like to optimise the bitmap detection capabilities of one of our scripts, as the timing of the arrival of the bitmap is important to us, while not wanting to overload the CPU on the system being monitored. The issue we see is, when running an image detection action to wait for bitmap to app...

Canceling running script through DLL interface

We are currently calling to scripts via the RunCode DLL interface. The problem we are having is we want the ability to cancel these scripts from the external source. The problem we've found is the DLL interface doesn't have a Stop function (as is the case in the OCX interface). To stop execution of ...

Re: Exception handling when running scripts via RunCode

Thanks marcus I will look into the handler... Just as an aside when I followed the link I got the following error from the site: Site error: the file /var/www/vhosts/cloud.mjtnet.com/mjtnet.com/comments/init-settings.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.3.so to be installed by th...

Exception handling when running scripts via RunCode

We have an embedded solution utilising macroscript dll from within which we run our scripts. The problem we have is the default handling of exceptions (eg. SetFocus when a window doesn't exist) is to popup a dialog with the error string and wait for the user to respond to the Cancel/OK options. We w...
