Re: Checkboxes behaving sporadically

Hi all, I once had an "strange" problem with checkboxes. In a routine I needed a button that i could click, if I wanted to refresh variables i a program. And this action should be visible until the refresh was done (about 3 seconds) So if this was a Button, I would change Color to Red to indicate th...

Re: How to enlarge a Dialog proportinate with its objects ?

Hi Grovkillen and JRL To "adjust" the whole Dialog dynamically, thats un-doable, but, that would surely be the best solution. You than have to keep in mind the fonts on the objects, but also the position and size of the canvas and the objects etc. It is not only the fonts... Somehow, i suspect (by i...

How to enlarge a Dialog proportinate with its objects ?

hi all, i have made a small tool which is very helpful to the users of an old pbx system. It browses through contacts and so they can easily dial this contact number. Ok, but that's not the problem. One of the users is kind-of nearly blind, and has problems to "read" the content of the Dialog. I hav...

Re: Gettextinit freezes debugger

Just to let you know; I also experience this problem. The use of “GetTextinit” makes Macroscheduler unstable, and looks randomly but fast to result into the “out of System Resources” and “Not enough memory…” errors popping up. Nothing left to what you can do is to kill the process MSched.exe in the ...

Re: How to word-wrap a long line - Solved

JRL ... YOU truly are the greatest ...! This is the ultimate fitting solution the way i spend hours on to realize and I could not. Because, while fitting in the Memodialog, this is "whatyouseeiswhatyouget" output ! I wish, I had some of your creativity, because it is not difficult if you look at it,...

Re: How to word-wrap a long line

Thanks Marcus, Dorian and of course JRL I had a guess that i could use a dialog object to wordwrap a string into broken-up parts of that string, No problem if it can not. It would be convenient if it could, because im always glad if there is a "lazy"option! But JRL; Thanks (again!) for your solution...

Re: MoveFile and SWIFT

hi Dom, you can try this; had similar problems (in 1 percent of the copies) with copyfile, it looked to me if the other external application accessed the file too early, and with me, the problem was solved by putting let>CF_ANIMATE=1 before the copyfile (Movefile also uses the cf_animate) Seems to m...
