Re: Solving a puzzle

My initial thought was "I don't think Macro Scheduler is meant for solving puzzles". This looks like it could be awfully complicated. Even if you manage to get it working for this one, making it adaptable for other puzzles could be a nightmare. I'm interested to see what other suggestions or solutio...

Re: Outlook Processing new messages

Automating Outlook can be quite challenging and cumbersome. Luckily, we don't need to. By far the best way of doing this is to automate the incoming email with RetrievePop3.

This will save any attachments wherever you like, and there is a usage example at the URL linked above.

Re: How to send email from excel list

There's no attachment here, but I have received your identical request and Excel file via the helpdesk and have responded there. Dear Markus, duplicate your answer here, since this topic is interesting and relevant in my task. Please feel free to start your own thread letting us know how you need h...

Re: Application ignores all Click commands

Does it run as admin? If so, Macro Scheduler will have to as well.

Re: Dialog Editor off the screen

This gets it visible again. Edit accordingly : Let>REG_INTASSTR=1 RegistryWriteKey>HKEY_CURRENT_USER,SOFTWARE\MJTNET\MSched15,dlgToolFormLeft,300 RegistryWriteKey>HKEY_CURRENT_USER,SOFTWARE\MJTNET\MSched15,dlgToolFormTop,300 RegistryWriteKey>HKEY_CURRENT_USER,SOFTWARE\MJTNET\MSched15,dlgPropsHeight,...

Re: Dialog Editor off the screen

Frustratingly, we haven't been able to replicate it at all.

Assigning keys to other keys.

Three or four years ago I had a keyboard with a Menu key on it. Think of it as a "right-click button". I don't like repeatedly having to use my mouse for right-click when I could so easily "press right-click" then choose a shortcut key. The trouble is, most keyboards don't have that button. Enter Ma...

Chrome Bookmarks script

I thought this might help some beginners out there. Two of the things I dislike the most are using my mouse when I don't have to, and fishing around trying to find certain bookmarks. I know it's only a few seconds, but I use bookmarks multiple times per day. One thing I learned years ago is that we ...

Re: XLGet Active Workbook

If you wanted every 10th row wouldn't you just simply use Let>v=v+10?

There would probably be an overlap so you need to stop when v > compte.

Until>v>%compte%

Re: XLGet Active Workbook

That is a strange one, and without being able to experiment with it I can't think of an obvious way. Have you tried the OCR wizard? Tbh if this was me and I was having reliability issues extracting text I'd probably go the download Excel route too. Do you have that method working now? Either with XL...

Re: XLGet Active Workbook

Eurgh. Why don't you send the xlsx file to us over at Support and we'll have a play with it. I'm guessing the reason you're using XLSheetToArray is because you don't have Excel installed? Otherwise you'd have all the other XL options to play with and not need the file to be an xls as opposed to an x...

Re: XLGet Active Workbook

I had a play with it and it doesn't seem to like 16, or a few of the others. It seems to work with 39, or nothing. XLSave>xlBook,d:\mybook.xls,39 XLSave>xlBook,d:\mybook.xls However, only the 39 option produced a file readable by XLSheettoArray. My test sheet simply contained 3 row and 2 columns : A...

Re: XLGet Active Workbook

Just to add to what Grovkillen said, another alternative if the file is already open is XLGet.
