This is almost always because some kind of security software prevented the compiler from installing. Disable that and reinstall.

Yes of course.

Simply open it with XLOpen (as you may already be doing), and after it's finished processing use XLSave and XLQuit.

If you right click on that element you can see it's in a frame. "View frame source" often gives us all the information we need to switch to that frame. For gmail you may need to enable 'less secure' apps and/or you might also need to create an app password:
