Re: FindImagePos and return_offset

JPG aren't supported *AT ALL* in this function. The help file says: needle_bitmap should be a fully qualified path to a bitmap or png file (see MatchAlgorithm type below for supported image types). MatchAlgorithm goes on to say that EXACT *only* works with BMP files while CCOEFF works with PNG or BM...

Re: Create a simple dialog with memo box

Just do exactly that. Create a custom dialog. Put only a memo box on it.

Prior to showing the dialog load the file into a variable using ReadFile and then set the text of the memo with this variable using SetDialogProperty.

Re: Secure Email Detection

I'll look into the STAT thing. Unfortunately that's how POP3 works. Could you maybe make another POP3 account somewhere else, set up some kind of auto-forward (in Outlook or otherwise) so that email from the real account goes to the special account, then RetrievePOP3 from the new forwarded account a...

Re: Secure Email Detection

Unfortunately as far as I am aware POP3 does not have the ability to know which emails have been read and which haven't. There's no SSL support for the Telnet commands. The server would probably want SSH for that anyway. But you could perhaps script winscp or putty or some other SSH client (winscp c...

Re: Excel Trouble

Not sure what is causing your error, but if you want to send your excel file and code to reproduce the issue to support (support AT mjtnet.com) we can try it here and see if we can get any debug info to work out what's happening.

Re: Suggestions Please - Excel Updates from other Excel Sheet

If this needs to happen from within Macro Scheduler I would have the macro loop through the sheet to find the part number. Just a simple loop. If within Excel then you have other options like the Find method.

Re: Memo Stops Updating

Hi,

No, there's no limit at all. Not sure why this is happening. Perhaps try adding a small delay before the SetDialogProperty:

Wait>0.02
SetDialogProperty>Dialog1,MSMemo1,Text,Test Text

Does that help?

Re: How do I execute and record an external Python script.

You can run via the command line using the RunProgram command. To get the output you could pipe to a text file and then read the text file back?

Re: Some questions about Image Recognition with Dialogs

For this example let's keep things simple and say you have two searches. For each one you have a checkbox. CheckBox1 and CheckBox2. In your handler: GetDialogProperty>Dialog1,CheckBox1,Checked,isBox1Checked GetDialogProperty>Dialog1,CheckBox2,Checked,isBox2Checked Then in the rest of your code you c...

Re: Digest authentication

Usually the digest is sent in a header. You can do that with HTTPRequest. You can set custom headers with the HTTP_CUSTOM_HEADERS variable. See help file or here . E.g.: Let>HTTP_CUSTOM_HEADERS=Authorization: bearer SECRET_PASSWORD%CRLF%Accept: application/json If you need to hash/sha256/base64 the ...

Re: MoveFile and SWIFT

CopyFile uses the Windows copy function. Windows does the job. CF_ANIMATE just tells Windows to use its animation when it does so. It does not change how it copies. What it *MIGHT* do if you think about it is SLOW things down because there's extra work involved. And since most issues turn out to be ...

Re: Text Capture in scanned documents

Macro Scheduler's OCR functions are designed for scanning the screen. There are no built in document OCR functions. You would need to use a third party tool. Many offer command line options you can use from a Macro Scheduler script.
