{"id":306,"date":"2009-01-06T16:29:56","date_gmt":"2009-01-06T16:29:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mjtnet.com\/blog\/?p=306"},"modified":"2009-03-02T13:59:04","modified_gmt":"2009-03-02T13:59:04","slug":"new-year-new-site-new-look-new-logo-new-podcasts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mjtnet.com\/blog\/2009\/01\/06\/new-year-new-site-new-look-new-logo-new-podcasts\/","title":{"rendered":"New Year, New Site, New Look, New Logo, New Podcasts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Happy New Year everyone!<\/p>\n<p>And it&#8217;s not just a new year.\u00a0 Everything else is new too.\u00a0 Not content with a new release (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mjtnet.com\/macro_scheduler.htm\">Macro Scheduler V11<\/a>) which we got out early in December we felt it was high time for a new look as well.\u00a0 So along with a nifty new logo we have a new site design, as you will see if you are reading this on the web site.\u00a0 If not, head on over to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mjtnet.com\/\">www.mjtnet.com<\/a> and check it out.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s one very minor glitch noticeable only if you are using IE6, which is probably the worst web browser ever made.\u00a0 Unfortunately, amazingly, according to our web server logs 35% of hits come from IE6.\u00a0 If you are one of those using IE6 ditch it now!\u00a0 Upgrade to IE7, or, better, try <a href=\"http:\/\/www.getfirefox.com\">Firefox<\/a> or Google Chrome if you have to.\u00a0 Please.\u00a0 Ok, we&#8217;re working on the IE6 issue.\u00a0 Rant over.<\/p>\n<p>If you spot any broken links, please let me know.<\/p>\n<p>Also new is a series of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mjtnet.com\/kudos.htm\">Macro Scheduler user podcasts<\/a>.\u00a0 We thought it would be cool to interview some Macro Scheduler users, find out more about them and how they are benefiting from the software, what kinds of things they&#8217;re doing with it.\u00a0 We figured rather than doing stuffy old case studies it would be more fun to be a bit more informal and create some podcasts.\u00a0 You&#8217;ll find them over on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mjtnet.com\/kudos.htm\">Customer Testimonial page<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 So far there are six podcasts.\u00a0 You can hear how Mitch Vincent uses Macro Scheduler for automated data input and software testing at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ksoftware.net\">K-Software<\/a>.\u00a0 Paul Griffin speaks about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mjtnet.com\/appnav.htm\">AppNavigator<\/a>, how it is helping make mortgage approvals more efficient and how he became an MJT Net partner.\u00a0 Antonius Momac also talks about software testing at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tpt.com\">Triple Point Technologies<\/a>. Phil Lewis from Siemens tells us how Macro Scheduler helps him administer a large DNS network.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sensiblesolutions.org\">Bob Hansen<\/a> talks about how he&#8217;s made a living automating his clients&#8217; processes; and Keith Passaur of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.edocfile.com\">eDocFile <\/a>talks about document imaging automation.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I couldn&#8217;t work without Macro Scheduler.
